Hope Coffee Club is a ministry for the elderly in an environment that brought them together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with refreshments, and where the message of hope is shared. Hope Coffee Club started 10 years ago, with only two people from the community together with a handful of Pollards Hill Baptist Church members. It since grew to 30-35 regular members, which includes residents from two local care homes.
Many close friendships have been formed through the Hope Coffee Club, and the members look out for and spend time with each other outside of the coffee club.
